Meco-HP200 emulsified asphalt is a kind of high-quality natural asphalt as the basic raw material. It uses a special process to modify the surface of the asphalt particles, so that the surface of the particles has a positive charge, and the colloidal particles present a reasonable normal distribution feature without hardening. Its main components are highly dispersed and dissolved products in mud.
The softening point of Meco-HP200 is specially designed and has a wide application range. When the downhole temperature is large and the coverage is large, its continuous plugging effect is still good. It has the functions of film formation, plugging and anti-collapse for most of the formations in long open hole wells. It is squeezed into the micro-fractures of the formation, and uses the plugging/filming mechanism to stabilize the shale and prevent collapse.
Meco-HP200 emulsified asphalt has the properties of anti-slumping, lubricating, and controlling high-temperature and high-pressure fluid loss that ordinary asphalt has, and the most prominent feature is that it is highly dispersed and truly softened at a specific temperature.
