Millennium Energy, established in 2014 and headquartered in Qingdao, is a high-technology enterprise focused on the R&D, manufacturing, and global export of drilling fluid chemistries. Backed by world-class research resources from China University of Petroleum, we serve major oil and gas producing regions worldwide, delivering cost-effective drilling fluid additives and engineered fluid system solutions.
Millennium Energy operates on a dual-track R&D framework, leveraging hybrid composite technology to deliver complete solutions that balance robust downhole performance and commercial cost efficiency. We conduct independent molecular design of core actives, alongside lab and pilot-scale validation of synthesis parameters. Manufacturing is carried out by qualified chemical partners, while Millennium Energy retains full control over raw material qualification, quality specifications, process oversight, and finished product testing. Our core resources are dedicated to molecular R&D, drilling fluid system evaluation, and field application technical services.
We maintain an industry-university partnership with China University of Petroleum to build a joint graduate research and testing facility. Our proprietary three-tier business model integrates original technology from China University of Petroleum, custom manufacturing by Millennium Energy, and global deployment for overseas markets.
Millennium Energy runs a standardized chemical laboratory equipped with full drilling and completion fluid testing and analytical capabilities, including lab synthesis and pilot-scale hardware. Our core R&D and testing competencies include:
