Organophilic lignite is a fluid loss additive product used in high-temperature and high-pressure oil-based or synthetic-based drilling fluid systems. Its temperature resistance reaches 180°C. In the inversion emulsification system, it can be compatible with main milk and auxiliary milk products to form a stable emulsification state and maintain good thermal stability of the system. It is especially suitable for deep well and high temperature well operations.
Features and uses:
It is made of humic acid as the main body and undergoes comprehensive chemical modifications such as grafting and polycondensation. It is a brown powder. It is suitable for all kinds of fresh water and salt water drilling fluid systems containing 3~15% NaCl. The improved Organophilic lignite's salt resistance can reach saturation. The mud added with Organophilic lignite has good salt resistance, pollution resistance, high temperature resistance and filter loss reduction properties. The rheological properties of mud are stable, HTHP has small filter loss and good wall protection effect. It is widely used in drilling fluid systems for deep wells and ultra-deep wells in various salt-gypsum layers on land and offshore. When using it under high-salt conditions, pay attention to adjusting the mud pH to 9~10.
Recommended dosage:
1. When used as a high-temperature fluid loss additive for fresh water slurry, the dosage is generally about 3%;
2. When used to reduce fluid loss in salt water slurry (NaCl 15%) resistant to high temperatures (180°C), the addition amount is generally 5%.
