ME drilling fluids® Filtration Control Additive PAC-LV is a premium-grade Polyanionic Cellulose Polymer that serves as an effective treatment agent for drilling mud and completion fluids. It features a low dosage requirement and high pulping rate. It exhibits strong resistance against salt and calcium, making it suitable for various water-based muds, including fresh water and saturated brine fluids. It aids in the formation of a robust and thin filter cake to minimize the potential for differential sticking. The product remains stable at temperatures up to 300°F. Moreover, it can be incorporated into completion fluids with diverse densities using calcium chloride, resulting in reduced filtration loss. ME drilling fluids® Filtration Control Additive PAC-LV is non-toxic, odorless, minimally affects rheology, readily dissolves in water, and does not necessitate fermentation or biocides. It also encapsulates solids to regulate the dispersion of active shale. ME drilling fluids® Filtration Control Additive PAC-LV complies with the standards set by the US API.
