Polymer Flooding agent,ME-AMPS improves the hydrophilism of PAM , which are at least water dispersible have been found to be outstanding fluid loss control additives, not only for fresh water muds, but also for muds having high soluble calcium and chloride concentrations, especially under conditions of high temperature and pressure.
By means of adding a certain amount of AMPS+PAM co-polymer
into the injected water and increase its viscosity to improve the oil-water mobility ratio. The oil layer catches and absorbs the polymer molecules which lowers the permeability of high and medium filter layer or swept layer, increase the seepage resistance of injected water, increase the water absorption of low filter layer and low swept layer, enlarge the contact scale between injected water and oil surface and the vertical water thickness on oil layer, therefor, enlarge the water volume to displace the remained oil in water displacing and enhance the oil recovery ratio.
