On September 19, China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) released the news that China's first deepwater oilfield secondary development project - Liuhua 11-1/4-1 oilfield secondary development project was formally put into operation in the waters of the Pearl River Estuary Basin, marking the success of China's pioneering of a new mode of economic and efficient development of deepwater oilfields, and the ability of the design, construction and installation of the full range of deepwater oil and gas equipment has reached a world-class level. The design, construction and installation capacity of all types of deepwater oil and gas equipment has reached the world-class level, which is of great significance to guarantee national energy security and accelerate the cultivation of new productivity of marine energy.
Liuhua 11-1/4-1 oilfield secondary development project consists of two oilfields, Liuhua 11-1 and Liuhua 4-1, with an average water depth of about 305 meters, and the main production facilities include a deepwater conduit rack platform "Haiji No.2", a cylindrical FPSO "Anemone No.1", and 32 wells are planned to be put into production. The main production facilities include a deepwater conduit rack platform "Haiji II" and a cylindrical FPSO "Sea Anemone I". 32 development wells are planned to be put into production, with a peak daily production of about 2,700 tons of oil, and the nature of the oil is heavy crude.
Liuhua 11-1 oilfield is China's first deepwater oilfield, completed and put into production in March 1996, promoting China's offshore crude oil production exceeded 10 million tons for the first time that year. In recent years, with the continuous breakthroughs in the development technology of reef tuff oilfields, CNOOC has carried out research on comprehensive oilfield adjustment projects, which has significantly increased the recoverable reserves and recovery rate of the oilfield group, and extended the exploitation life by 30 years. The joint development of Liuhua 11-1 oilfield and Liuhua 4-1 oilfield has ushered in the opportunity of secondary development.
In the past 10 years, 70% to 80% of the world's new oil and gas fields have been discovered in the ocean, of which nearly two thirds are concentrated in deep water. China's deepwater oil and gas exploration and development is still in the early stage, and the prospect of increasing reserves and production is broad. Liuhua 11-1/4-1 oil field secondary development project construction lasted nearly 4 years, CNOOC United Nations more than 40 advanced manufacturing enterprises, successfully overcome a series of technical challenges, the formation of S420 grade super-strength steel, high tenacity permanent mooring polyester cable, self-developed central control system to achieve 3 world-first technology and 15 key technologies for the first time in the domestic application of the quality of the project, safety, progress and so on have reached the world's advanced level, so that China has the capability of the world advanced level, so that China has the ability to develop a deepwater oil and gas exploration and development. The quality, safety and schedule of the project have all reached the world advanced level, enabling China to have the ability to independently design and manufacture different types of deepwater oil and gas equipment according to different sea areas and different oil fields.
