To address these challenges, our company has successfully developed ME-BLACKNEX-a high-temperature-resistant, salt-tolerant, and gypsum-contamination-resistant water-based fluid loss reducer. It is synthesized by grafting polymers onto lignite to form a multi-component copolymer, effectively preventing high-temperature thickening of drilling fluids while demonstrating remarkable fluid loss control. It is suitable for drilling fluid environments with temperatures ranging from 150–200°C and densities of 2.0–2.6.

ME-BLACKNEX is produced by graft copolymerization of lignite with two or more polymer monomers. This product exhibits strong clay adsorption (protective colloid capability), fluid loss reduction, viscosity reduction, and resistance to salt, calcium, and magnesium contamination.

Key Features in Professional Chemical Terminology:

- High-temperature resistance (150–200°C)

- Salt & divalent cation tolerance (Ca²⁺, Mg²⁺)

- Fluid loss control (low HPHT filtration)

- Clay stabilization (colloid protection)

- Rheology modification (shear thinning, yield stress optimization)

- Barite suspension (enhanced sag resistance)

- Polymer graft copolymerization (lignite-based backbone with synthetic monomers)

This formulation ensures thermal stability, contaminant resistance, and superior filtration control in ultra-high-density brine-based drilling fluids.
