Product Description

Primary Emulsifier is a specialized liquid formulation composed of organic fatty acids, engineered to deliver exceptional emulsion stability and performance in oil-based drilling fluid systems. This advanced primary emulsifier is specifically designed to generate and maintain stable water-in-oil (W/O) emulsions, even under extreme high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) conditions. It functions through the formation of calcium soap in situ when combined with lime, creating a robust interfacial film that effectively encapsulates water droplets and prevents coalescence.

The mechanism of this primary emulsifier involves the adsorption of its amphiphilic molecules at the oil-water interface, significantly reducing interfacial tension and providing a strong steric and electrostatic barrier against droplet merger.
