Product Description

This product is an advanced viscosifying additive xanthan gum, a high-molecular-weight polysaccharide biopolymer engineered through specialized polymer grafting technology to deliver exceptional rheological performance in challenging downhole environments. As a superior viscosifying additive xanthan gum, it provides reliable viscosity and suspension control in drilling, completion, workover, and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) fluids, even under high-temperature and high-salinity conditions where conventional biopolymers fail.

Unlike standard xanthan gum, which undergoes a reversible conformational transition from an ordered helix to a disordered random coil at elevated temperatures-resulting in significant viscosity loss-this modified viscosifying additive xanthan gum viscosifying additive xanthan gum lity. The grafting process introduces stabilizing functional groups that inhibit thermal degradation, allowing consistent performance in temperatures up to 250°F (120°C) and in high-density brine systems containing calcium, sodium, and other divalent ions.

This clay-free viscosifier minimizes the risk of formation damage by avoiding the introduction of fine particulate matter into productive zones, thereby helping to maintain well productivity and improve flowback efficiency. It is particularly suitable for clay-free brine drilling fluid systems, high-density completion fluids, and polymer flooding operations in high-temperature deep-well applications. The product is compatible with most water-based fluid systems and other common additives, offering a robust solution for operations requiring precise viscosity control and outstanding suspension capacity without increasing formation damage potential.
