The deep-ground Take 1 well is located in the Tarim Basin, Xinjiang. It not only undertakes the task of discovering oil and gas resources, but also carries out deep scientific exploration.
At present, the deep underground Taco 1 well has just completed the support steel pipe operation to prevent the collapse of the drilled well wall, and the weight of 538 steel pipes connected to each other has reached 660 tons, setting a number of records such as the deepest large-size steel pipe operation and the largest steel pipe operation tonnage, and comprehensively testing the lifting capacity of the drilling rig.

The Tarim Basin, where the deep Take 1 well is located, is an ultra-deep oil-gas rich area in China. The total oil and gas geological resources below 8,000 meters exceed 9 billion tons of oil equivalent, accounting for more than half of the ultra-deep resources in China.
