Product overview
Composition: Mainly montmorillonite, consisting of silica-oxygen tetrahedra and aluminum-oxygen octahedra constituting a sandwich structure, belonging to the monoclinic crystal system. Because of this special layered structure, it has a large specific surface area, so it has strong adsorption. In aqueous solution has good dispersion and suspension and adhesion, in a certain range of concentration range, showing excellent thixotropy.
2. Performance feature
Function: Bentonite as the main raw material for the configuration of drilling mud, used to protect the well wall, the upward return of rock cuttings, cooling the drill bit and so on.
