Baraflc 903 is a high-performance sulfonated asphalt derivative designed for use as a versatile and economical WBM inhibiting asphalt additive. It functions effectively in both water-based and oil-based drilling fluid systems to enhance wellbore stability and improve filtration control. Its unique composition allows it to form a thin, tough, and flexible filter cake that effectively bridges micro-fractures and pore throats in the formation. This WBM inhibiting asphalt additive significantly reduces fluid invasion, prevents shale hydration and dispersion, and mitigates borehole sloughing.

Recommended Treatment

Packaging & Storage
