COMPOSITION / INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS AND APPLICATIONS
Filter cake breaker,ME-WBR commonly used to remove formate filter cake in long horizontal section include formate fluid, strong inorganic acid and organic acid, biological enzyme, chelating agent, compound of formate fluid and organic acid. However, due to high reservoir temperature, long-term shut in after strong acid treatment is likely to lead to serious corrosion of completion equipment, and the use of strong acid to quickly remove mud cake may cause a large amount of acid leakage in local areas and can not be evenly distributed in horizontal open hole section.
However, the enzyme can only attack the specific polymer chain, but can not remove calcium carbonate particles, which will lose or activity at high temperature. The oxidant can degrade starch, xanthan gum and other polymers, but can not be compatible with formate solution.
The activity of ester is delayed. When the cleaning fluid is replaced into the wellbore and the temperature rises, the reaction generates Organic acids and alcohols.
This breaker can be placed across the entire interval before acid is generated, improving overall clean-up.
Filter cake breaker,ME-WBR is suitable for use in most brines at temperatures 85 - 110°C (185 - 230°F).

Recommended Treatment :
A typical concentration of ME-WBR filter cake breaker is 17 – 24% v/v but this should be optimized on a case-by-case basis taking into account conditions such as hole diameter.
